Sheldon Jones founded Arima Capital to help entrepreneurs and investors in the commercial real estate arena build wealth through the intelligent use of capital.

Mr. Jones possesses a unique and valuable blend of capabilities-strong financial analysis skills combined with insights gained from hands-on experience as a financial executive and an entrepreneur. Mr. Jones is a finance-oriented professional with 15 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis and strategic planning in several industries, including consulting, real estate development, construction, engineering and information technology.

As a former developer in the District of Columbia, Mr. Jones is proficient in capital raising, deal structuring, project management, marketing and other facets of real estate development. Before establishing Arima Capital, Mr. Jones worked for seven years as the managing principal of a boutique consultancy that specialized in the structuring, formation and management of real estate development entities, joint ventures and government contracting partnership. Before that, he was Director of Finance of a 300-employee government contracting firm.

Mr. Jones is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Howard University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Jones has lived in the District of Columbia for 22 years.
